Spectrum Internet speeds increased may require new modem and/or router
In the past few months, Spectrum Internet has increased their base download speed from 100 Mbps to 300 Mbps. In order to get the new speeds on some of your devices, you may need to get a new internet modem from Spectrum. Also, you may need to get a new internet router - the device that allows you to split your internet connection with many devices in your household - which is capable of "gigabit" speeds. Spectrum has been notifying customers that need new modems, and sending a new modem to self-install. If you need help setting up the new modem, or purchasing and installing a new Wi-Fi router, please contact us via either method below.
