If your inbox has been feeling a little… extra lately, you’re not imagining it. Between “unsubscribe” traps and messages that look like they came from someone you trust, scammers are getting better at blending into normal email.
This month’s theme is simple: slow down before you click.
Two of the most common ways people get pulled into trouble start the same way: an email that feels routine. Sometimes it’s a tempting “unsubscribe” link. Other times it’s an “invoice,” a “cloud storage warning,” or a message that looks like it came from a friend or professional service provider. Remaining informed and vigilant can keep you safe from most of these before they ever turn into a problem.
